Music Studies students launched the 14th session of Evenings on Campus on Saturday with a concert.
The event is organised by the Koperattiva Kulturali Universitarja (KKU) and the University of Malta, in collaboration with the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts, KSU and KPMG.
The intense two-week long summer festival of cultural events will be held open-air on University Campus.
With "Waiting for Godo'... around the Mediterranean" for a theme, KKU aims to give the audience a taste of the joyfulness and the thoughtfulness which distinguishes the Mediterranean approach to life.
There will be five think-and-smile films, a traditional Maltese culinary night, three-one-act plays by Italian, Greek and Egyptian authors, highlighting the tragic-comic part of human reality, a dramatised literary evening based on the works of Saydon, an innovative Saxophone and Brass concert and a Sicilian evening with composer and singer, Luigi di Pino.
