If you already have a university degree or equivalent qualification and you have one of the following language combinations: An excellent command of your mother tongue (Maltese); excellent command of two languages to mother tongue level – (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish) or excellent command of your active language and a perfect understanding of at least two of the languages of the EU (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish), then you can apply for a full Postgraduate Diploma course in Interpreting or Translation offered for the year 2006/2007.

The selection procedure may include an Aptitude Test. On completion of the Diploma Course, students may proceed to the Masters degree in Interpreting or Translation.

Students interested in applying for courses commencing in October 2006 are to submit their application at the M.A. Vassalli Lecture Centre (GateWay Building), University of Malta, Msida by Friday, 21 July 2006 till 12.30pm.

Students waiting for their final results should also apply on the above date. Applications are to be submitted against a fee of Lm10 payable prior to submission of application at BOV or HSBC. The Information booklet and application forms may be obtained from the admissions and records office or the students’ advisory services at the University.
