German Ambassador Karl Von Stenglin has presented his letter of credence to President Edward Fenech Adami.

Mr Karl Von Stenglin was born in Vienna in 1944. He is married and has three children. He held various high ranking positions such as deputy head of division at the Foreign Office. In 1944 he worked as head of the Political Division at the embassy in New Delhi and was then posted at the Office of the Federal President.

Since 2005 he served at the embassy in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and the embassy in Vientiane, in Laos as charge d’affairs ad interim.
