Maybe I am a bit old fashioned but I was shocked to read in the newspapers about the lottery being put up for “Vote for your favourite story of Tista’ Tkun Int”.
A lottery based on very emotional and sometimes tragic heartaches of other people’s lives. Somehow it does not fit in. As regards the programme itself, it does in fact help many people but one must draw a line somewhere.
After all, it must have taken a lot out of these people concerned to expose certain private emotional events in their lives. So their story should just stop there and not be put up for a lottery.
Some respect and dignity for all concerned would be more appropriate.
