Msida St. Joseph FC have succeeded in signing another three very important players for the upcoming season.

24-year-old goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo has now signed a long-term contract with the club. The two other players are, 20-year-old Luke Vella Critien and 19-year-old Stacey Vella both defenders, were transferred on-loan with Msida St. Joseph F.C. till end of season 2006/2007 with the option of signing a permanent agreement next season.

Two friendly matches are scheduled for next week at the Hibs Ground. On Thursday 3 August Msida will face champions Birkirkara and on Saturday 5 August Msida are to meet Mosta. Both games kick off at 6pm.

The U/19 coach and the committee of Msida SJ will be addressing a players’ meeting next Tuesday at 8pm and the day after, the players will start the pre-season training for the 2006/07 season.
