This weekend, Doriette Gauci Sciortino is participating in the unique atmosphere of the Strada Art and Wine Festival promoted by Kris Fenech Soler and Edward Schembri of Trabuxu Wine Bar in Strait Street, Valletta, with a selection of oil paintings.

Doriette held her first solo

exhibition in 2004 and has participated in several collective exhibitions. A self-taught artist, her subject matter varies from serene landscapes and eye catching contrasts of bold colours, to studies of marine and rock formations.

This event showcases local art, music, food and wine in the heart of the capital city, using the well-known steps in Strait Street as a backdrop.
