Eight players tested positive after doping tests made by the association throughout the past year.

In all, ten doping tests were made in which four players were tested on each occasion.

Floriana, Hibernians, Msida and Sliema had four players each tested, while Birkirkara, Gzira, Hamrun, Marsa, Marsaxlokk, Mosta, Pieta, Rabat, Senglea, St George’s, St Patrick and Valletta, had two each.

Tests were held in matches in connection with the Premier League, the FA Trophy, First Division and Third Division (play-off).
