A man was arraigned in court on Saturday evening and charged with seriously injuring another man in Marsa.

Charles Schembri, 26, from Birkirkara, was accused of seriously injuring a man on the night of 28 to 29 July in Triq is-Serkin in Marsa. He was also accused of breaching the peace.

The man pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him. He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm5,000.
