A man was rushed to hospital late on Monday evening after he was seriously injured during a fight that broke out between four men in Msida.

In a statement, the police said the incident took place at around 10.40pm when a fight broke out between four men in Misrah Hamsa t’Ottubru in Msida. Police said a 34-year-old man from Msida was seriously injured during the fight and has been hospitalised for treatment.

Duty magistrate Anthony Vella was informed about the case, and appointed several court experts to assist the magisterial inquiry.

The police are investigating.
