On behalf of Air Malta I would like to apologise to the 144 passengers on board flight KM 103 of Wednesday 26 July for the inconvenience experienced.
Our aircraft had to land unexpectedly at Paris’s Orly airport in the early hours of the morning due to a pressurisation problem. It wasn’t easy to manage this situation especially because there were five other aircraft diversions at the airport at that time.
The other airport, Charles De Gaulle, was closed for traffic due to weather conditions. Notwithstanding this, I believe that the situation could have been handled better, both by us and our representatives. I wish to thank the various passengers who have contacted us and gave us feedback on this event. Air Malta will be making an internal enquiry on the circumstances of the events which we will be making public.
