A new added value service aimed at giving the public a wider choice with regard to mail delivery enquiries has just been introduced by Maltapost. The proof of delivery service is primarily aimed at providing clients with written proof of delivery/receipt of a registered item, for a minimal extra charge.
Through this service, clients requesting proof of delivery, who have not availed themselves of the AR (Advice of Receipt) card service at the point of posting, will now be able to request confirmation simply by completing the relevant details on a form obtainable from all Maltapost retail outlets and sub-post offices, and forwarding it to Maltapost Customer Care together with a copy of the registration receipt.
Official confirmation of delivery will then be forwarded to the client in due course.
Client reaction and the initial response to this service so far indicate that it has been very well-received.
This new service has been described as yet another effort by Maltapost to make life easier and provide added convenience for its clients.
