I honestly can’t think of words to describe the inefficiency of whoever is in charge of the Mosta Square project.
The whole project had been handled in a haphazard manner and here we are, a few days before the feast, and our town is still filled with dust and debris.
The accompanying photo was taken last Saturday in mid-morning.
In the meantime, I saw many tourists visiting our majestic Rotunda protecting their eyes from dust.
The parvis is full of dust. The street ornaments are almost white.
Restaurants and stores are covered with dust and I don’t know how restaurants are managing to serve their food in such a mess.
This is surely an ugly time in Mosta’s history and I’m sure we’ll never forget the “generosity” of the government.
We will certainly hear many excuses by the authorities but, I for one, will not accept any of them.
