Do teachers have to act as baby-sitters on buses now too?

According to Mr Carmel Micallef of Fgura (TMID, 15 August), they should be made to travel to and from schools together with students to reduce pollution and at the same time supervise the students’ behaviour on buses.

Does Mr Micallef expect them to do so without being paid for it? Will teachers have to be the first to be picked up in the morning and the last to leave the bus in the afternoon?

Does Mr Micallef go to his work on a bus or does he use his car?
