“Grand Master Raymond Perellos erected the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament in 1712 in order to convey Holy Communion to patients in the Sacra Infermeria.” (TMIS, 13 August)

This same chapel, although deconsecrated, was officially launched as a venue for civil marriages.

This is poor judgement and bad taste on the part of those responsible for this decision. I would suggest to either refrain from calling it the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament or else change its use as the very name is a contradiction to the function it now has.
