Branding The right way

Malta Independent Saturday, 26 August 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 21 years ago

I read my own letter (TMID 26 August) and noticed that one of the phrases was not properly worded and by itself it can be misinterpreted. It was as follows:

“We have the wardens who could be used as tourist police to monitor certain situations like overcharging tourists, etc., instead of simply filling the government coffers through parking tickets. Money from abuse of tourists will generate more income than the parking fines.”

The part in italics should have read: “Money generated by fines from abuse of tourists will generate more income than the parking fines.”
