I fully agree with your editorial Knowing the Score (TMID, 22 August), especially with the last paragraph.

I think that the Malta Football Association stands to lose more than television stations if no agreement is reached with regard to the broadcasting of premier league games.

The little interest that I believe exists in Maltese football can be further dampened if no programmes or highlights or full matches are screened.

As you wrote, “Maltese football needs the local media” to survive.
