Chev. Maurice Mizzi opens his gardens for an annual fundraising dinner

On the 22nd of June the Friends of the Little Sisters of the Poor turned up in force for their annual fundraising dinner at Chev. Maurice Mizzi's beautiful home. The guests enjoyed a cool glass of sparkling wine on arrival courtesy of M. Demajo Wines and Spirits Ltd as they strolled through the gardens which, even at the height of a hot and dry Mediterranean summer, are impeccable. A delicious meal followed, expertly prepared by Osborne Caterers and served with a smile and with panache by the now familiar waiters and waitresses. A lovely variety of wines, all generously provided by Marsovin Limited helped to add to the flavour of the evening. The ever faithful duo, Echoes Two played and sung popular tunes all evening as guests continued dancing by the light of the silvery moon till the early hours of the morning.

The Fund Raising committee and the Community of Little Sisters thank everyone and anyone who contributed to the success of the evening.

It is only with the help of benefactors like Chev. Mizzi and others that they can fulfill their mission of caring for the elderly.
