Minister Francis Zammit Dimech may not be perfect but he has certainly proved to be a great constituency MP. Lately however, the media and some key operators in the hotel business decided they wanted a scapegoat, and now Francis is apparently responsible for everything that is wrong with Product Malta.

He is responsible for rude taxi drivers and for the country looking like a building site. It is his fault we have no massive low cost airline input. It is also his fault that our airport taxes are so high.

Can we give the man a break? I suppose it’s also his fault that it’s so expensive to eat out, or take a day trip somewhere. Malta is just too expensive for the product on offer, and none of that is the fault of one person.
