Ever since the Church mass attendance figures were released, there have been letters upon letters in the papers to offer words of wisdom of how to encourage the flock to return.

Well, here’s a little bit of an eye opener for you – some people just don’t want to go to Church.

The figures speak for themselves, 52 per cent attendance shows that people simply aren’t going.

I’m not going to delve into the reasons for not going, but those pontificating contributors might want to accept something. Some people simply do not want to go to Mass and do not appreciate people sticking their oar in to analyse their decisions.

People that do not go to Mass do not try and encourage others to stop, so quite simply – mind your own business.
