Football enthusiasts on these islands are being aptly served by the show being broadcast on Melita Sports, Kick Off.

Having garnered two out of three nominations for the best Sports Programme in the upcoming Malta Television Awards, Kick Off is entering its ninth year of production, but presenter and producer Peter Paul Gauci shows no sign of slowing down the pace.

This year Kick Off has been moved to the Sunday schedule, starting at 7.00pm for an hour and a half of slow motion analysis, lively discussions and last minute news about the Barclays English Premier League. During this series, Peter Paul Gauci is being flanked by newcomer Racquel Camenzuli, while Catherine Mifsud and sports journalist Mark Mizzi continue with their informative and critique links with the guest in the studio. The team will also be hosting the Melita Sports Champions League shows before and after the UEFA Champions League games, LIVE on Melita Sports as from 12 September 2006.

This evening’s programme will be reviewing the two main games of the Premiership heavy weights Chelsea vs Liverpool and Manchester United vs Arsenal.

Kick Off is broadcast Live every Sunday at 7.00pm on Melita Sports, and repeated every Monday at 8.00pm.
