Bay Street is hosting a preview of the show This Thing Called Love: A Night With Cole Porter, on Saturday at 7pm. The show itself will be performed at the Manoel Theatre on 27, 28 and 29 October.

A Night With Cole Porter promises some great entertainment, especially for those who enjoy good music. Some all-time favourite tunes will be featured, including Night and Day, Anything Goes, Begin the Beguine, Blow Gabriel Blow, Let’s Do It (let’s fall in love), Every Time We Say Goodbye, I’ve Got You Under My Skin and Let’s Misbehave.

The show will feature some of the best-loved songs of the legendary Cole Porter that will be brought to life in a spectacular of singing, characterisations and dancing involving three top local artists, Nadine Axisa, Chris Arding and Ritianne, along with a talented cast of 45 between the ages of eight and 40.

All the singing will be live and will be accompanied by a five-piece band directed by Sigmund Mifsud. Costume and set design are in the hands of the talented Ernest Camilleri and Adrian Mamo.

The profits from this show will be donated to the Puttinu Cares Foundation at the Wonderland Ward of St Luke’s Hospital.
