Vittoriosa Lawn Tenis Club will be organising its next team tournament between October and December. The competition is sponsored by Tennis Promotions Co. Ltd owned by Gordon Asciak, representative in Malta of the reputable ‘Lotto’ brand.

The tournament will be played on Mondays (Men) and Wednesdays (Women) and the rubbers will be alternated in such a way that players will not play at the same time each week.

The semi-finals and finals will be played on a Saturday and Sunday respectively.

The tournament will be played on a 14-game format and teams will play against each other on a round robin basis.

Applications will be accepted up to a maximum of 54 men and 54 women. All those interested in taking part and are 15 years old or over are kindly requested to register at the club personally or by phoning the club’s office on 21696978 from 6pm onwards. Members may also apply through email [email protected] specifying details.

The closing date for entries is Sunday 8 October.
