Fresh tarmac for the first stretch of the Victoria-San Lawrenz road in Gozo was laid yesterday. The road reconstruction project is being financed in part by the European Union, under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Structural Funds Programme for Malta 2004-2006 and the Government of Malta.
