Krokus Live in Malta

Malta Independent Sunday, 1 October 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Bedside Radio, Tokyo Nights, Long Stick Goes Boom, Headhunter, Midnite Maniac – after a long wait of over 25 years, Maltese fans will be able to see their very own Marc Storace perform live on stage with the legendary Krokus.

Marc himself is eager to play in his homeland because since joining the Swiss band Krokus in the late 1970s, a Krokus gig in Malta, although attempted on various occasions, has never materialised.

Having sold over 10 million albums and performing to sold-out tours world wide, has made Krokus a major rock act. The fact that the singer / frontman and composer of most of their hits is Maltese, makes all Maltese citizens proud that Krokus have now included Malta in their forthcoming world tour.

The first launch of their 15th studio album Hellraiser was held last month in Germany and Switzerland, with launches to be held in other countries all over and outside Europe in the coming days. Within 24 hours of its launch, Hellraiser had already achieved gold status in both countries!!

Classic Rock Promotions, which is made up of Michael Hersey, George Hersey, Colin Borg Ginger, Manuel Portelli and Stefan Vassallo, are proud to have been entrusted by Krokus, with the organisation of the Malta gig. All four have been involved in the music scene, especially the rock scene, for the past 10 years and the excellent team work and positive vibe between the organising team, will ensure a magical night that will be remembered by Marc and all his fans for a long time to come.
