I refer to your snippet in Odds & Ends (TMID, 25 September) regarding a noisy Enemalta substation in College Street, Rabat.

Enemalta has no substation in College Street, Rabat and the closest substation is in Ferris Street. The substation was checked and found to be functioning normally and without excessive noise or hum.
