Another week has passed and there is still no sign of an agreement between the Malta Football Association and the three major television stations with regard to the transmission of Premier League football games.

No results are given, no footage was shown and there is a general feeling on One TV, Net TV and TVM that there is no top division football in Malta.

While I understand that these television stations want to remain hard-headed in their stand with the MFA – after all, they are protecting their interests – at the same time their viewers (and listeners, as this concerns their radio stations too) are being deprived of the service.

Isn’t it possible for them to just give the results of the matches that are being played? Would they be in breach of MFA regulations if they do so?
