The area around Triq il-Qasam corner with St Andrews Road has finally seen the long-awaited maintenance work carried out in a very professional way. The residents’ sincere thanks are extended to the local council, and mainly to councillor Gregory Brincat, as well as to the contractors concerned for a job well done. The area needed it, and has finally got it. The occasional visit, at selected periods of the day, by the wardens team would ensure that the area is better administered still.

Through the means of this newspaper, we would like to extend our thanks again to Mr Brincat and the Swieqi Local Council; it is not solely complaints that we residents place on the doorsteps of the Local Council, but our gratitude, whenever gratitude is due, finds its way when this possibly is least expected.
