Industrial Action at ADT

Malta Independent Wednesday, 4 October 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 19 years ago

The Union Haddiema Maghqudin has registered an industrial dispute with the Malta Transport Authority (ADT) after the latter changed the working times of employees in the Licensing and Testing Directorate, the union said.

The UHM issued a number of directives to all directorate employees, effective from yesterday.

Among them, employees have been asked to go slow and work to rule, refuse to be moved to desks other than their own and not to use telephones, faxes or emails, while work at the counter must stop at noon.

The union said it might also issue other directives unless the situation is rectified.
