John Camilleri has been appointed chairman of the editorial board at Public Broadcasting Services.

Born in Floriana and now residing in Birkirkara, Mr Camilleri was educated at MCAST and the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, where he obtained a master’s degree in human resources. Today he is the general manager of a private company.

He has been chief executive officer of the Employment and Training Corporation and the Malta Trade Fairs Corporation. He was also executive director of AZAD and was formerly private secretary to the prime minister.

Mr Camilleri was also chairman of Telemalta Corpora-tion and served as a director on various government enterprises.
