Maltapost has announced that a temporary branch post office will be set up in the ballroom of the Le Meridien Phoenicia, Floriana, between Friday and Sunday during the opening hours of the MALTEX philatelic exhibition organised by the Philatelic Society. The temporary branch will be open between 9am and 6pm on Friday and Saturday and between 9am and 1pm on Sunday.

Services on offer at this temporary branch will include the sale of stamps and postal stationery, other postal services and posting facilities. Parcel post service will not be available. All mail posted at this branch will be cancelled with the

MALTEX special cancellation inscribed “MALTEX 2006, 6-8 October, Le Meridien, Floriana, Malta” and will carry the exhibition’s logo.
