Reference is made to the news report entitled “Lawyer, contractor forgive each other” (TMID, 6 October) wherein it was erroneously stated that Dr Claire Bonello apologised to Charles Polidano for any alleged insult. In fact it was Charles Polidano who apologised for assaulting her and bound himself not to molest or harass her and dropped all charges in her regard.

In view of this apology Dr Bonello withdrew the charges she had filed against the contractor. Any inconvenience is regretted.
