The St Monica Choir of Mosta conducted by Sister Beniamina Portelli of the Augustinian Sisters will perform at the Culture Performance Hall of the Sliema Philharmonic Society on Friday 20 October at 7.30pm as part of the Sliema International Arts Festival.

The St Monica Choir will perform popular songs and selections from famous musicals including pieces like “Just another rumba” by George Gershwin; “Circle of Life” from the Disney movie “The Lion King”; John Lennon's “Imagine”; “You'll never walk alone”; “Lord of the dance” and Lloyd Weber's “Masquerade”.

Entrance is free and patrons are invited to be seated by 7.20pm.

This concert will be followed by the inauguration of an exhibition of artistic marble works by leading sculptor Ronnie Pisani. This exhibition will be open also on Saturday evening and Sunday morning and evening.
