The Malta Under 19 side registered a positive result in their opening match of the UEFA U/19 Regional Mini-Tournament being held in Denmark.

The Maltese, coached by Edwin Camilleri, yesterday afternoon secured a creditable and well-deserved point by drawing 1-1 against the home side.

The score was already one-all at the interval with Malta's goal coming from the Hibernians' midfielder Ben Camilleri.

Malta meets France tomorrow afternoon in their second match.
