In a deal that will be music to the ears of any rugby fan, Emirates Airline is offering complimentary season tickets on purchase of the airline’s Rugby 7s packages for the three-day festival of rugby which begins in Dubai on 30 November.
Starting at Lm35 per person per night, the packages are great value for money and include two- to five-star hotel accommodation with complimentary breakfast, meet and assist at Dubai International Airport, return chauffeur-driven transfers between the airport and the hotel, 96-hour visa as well as an Arabian Adventures welcome pack.
Packages must be booked for a minimum of three nights and all stays must begin on 30 November 2006 or later. Passengers can book stays up to 10 December if required and at least one sector (inbound or outbound) must be on Emirates. The packages are available for sales world wide, including Malta, to all passengers regardless of airfare or class of travel.
Emirates operates five flights weekly from Malta to Dubai via Larnaca, Cyprus, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, on Airbus A330-200.
Emirates has sponsored the Dubai Rugby 7s since 1988. As well as being the title sponsor for the tournament, Emirates also sponsors the England and Samoan Rugby 7s teams for the whole series. The tournament kicks off the seventh IRB (International Rugby Board) Sevens Series. The Emirates Airline Rugby 7s sees nine tournaments taking place, the premier one being the IRB Sevens event. The others are the International Invitational, Gulf men’s, Local Social, Ladies Veterans, the Under 19s and the International and Gulf Vets.
