Through this newspaper I would like to thank all the benefactors that have been helping poor children and their families in my MSSP parish in Aplao, Peru for the last 36 years.
I am currently in Malta for some time of rest and at the same time to visit some of you personally – you who silently are giving life to these children and putting a smile on their face by giving them food, clothes, medicines and the opportunity of going to school, thus giving them hope for a better future.
As a missionary I would have been able to do much less than I have actually managed to do. Through your mercy, you have become like fathers and mothers to these children. In Peru, over 52 per cent of the population still lives in poverty. So once again I really would like to thank you for your kind generosity and sensitivity so that together we continue what we started – in giving food, clothing and health to many poor children in our mission.
Whoever wants to contact me can phone me at St Agatha’s Motherhouse on tel.: 2145-9222 or 2145-4813. If you like to write to me, send your letters to St Agatha’s Motherhouse, Hal Bajjada Street, Rabat, RBT 07.
Once again, thanks for your ongoing support and may God bless you.
