Dedicated Micros Malta Ltd – part of the AD Group – has secured the coveted Best Security Manufacturer award in the prestigious Security Excellence Awards. The results were announced at a gala dinner held earlier this month at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London, in front of hundreds of security professionals.

It was the company’s innovative approach to CCTV that proved decisive in the judges’ decision to select Dedicated Micros as the ultimate winner from a short-list that included Axis Communications, Panasonic, Pelco, Risco Group and TAC Satchwell. TransVu Media – the mobile system that combines security with the potential to display advertising – was singled out for particular praise in the announcement.

Dedicated Micros Group managing director Andy Finn said: “We are delighted to receive the Best Security Manufacturer award, reflecting as it does Dedicated Micros’ position at the forefront of the industry. For nearly a quarter of a century now our technological developments have formed many of the building blocks of CCTV.

“This ongoing commitment to deliver leading edge solutions has been much in evidence in the last 12 months, with new products – that meet the real needs of customers – brought to market at an unprecedented rate. These include MultiMode Recording capability for the new Digital Sprite 2, NetVu Console that recognises the need for a practical – and capable – way of bridging the gap between the security and IT world, and the award-winning mobile CCTV recorder, TransVu Media.”

Dedicated Micros (Malta) Ltd have recently moved to newer and larger premises in Bulebel Industrial Estate to gear up for the further growth of the Group.
