Scottish international coaches Billy and May Fulton were recently on holiday in Malta. The Fultons love the island and have been holidaying here for many years.

Billy Fulton is now the assistant national coach of Scotland’s national junior team.

However, despite their holiday mood, the Fultons could not refrain from their favourite activity – coaching youngsters and upcoming promising players.

Several two-hour practical training sessions were held during which the local players could avail themselves of the latest knowhow relating to Badminton technique and tactics; the Fultons were impressed at the considerable potential for further development shown by the participants.

The Fultons also found time to visit the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology where they conducted a training session for the students; they were equally impressed with their enthusiasm.

While confirming the Association’s commitment to the continued development of its junior and promising players, a spokesman for the local Badminton Association expressed the Association’s considerable gratitude to the Fultons for their valuable assistance and support.
