The Malta Institute of Management is offering a new service to its members. Thanks to an agreement reached with the Conference Board, members now have access to an on-line library packed with management-related research material. All members have to do is visit the MIM offices.

The Conference Board, founded in the United States in 1916, is the world’s pre-eminent business research organisation. A non-profit organisation, it has, for almost 90 years, equipped the world’s leading corporations with practical knowledge and vital business intelligence through issues-oriented research. Access to their research provides corporations and individuals with the ideas and tools they need to break from ordinary thinking, cultivate innovation and address critical issues in ways that help strengthen the performance and shape the values of their organisations and the world around them.

Thanks to this initiative members can have access to a number of services covering a host of subjects, among which:

1. Download the latest research and browse the archives: complete Executive Action Series, Executive Summaries, Research Reports, Periodicals and Power Presentations.

2. Get updated economic forecasts, find the latest US Consumer Confidence Index numbers, plus the Global Leading Indicators.

MIM members are advised that the Institute’s offices will be open every Wednesday between 4 and 7pm to all those who wish to make use of this facility. Further information can be obtained by contacting Stephanie Scerri on. 2145 3097 or via e-mail on [email protected] .
