The annual award of Lm1,000 by Frank Salt Investments Limited will be presented to the person, persons, organisation or company that acted in such a way this year to be a credit and give pride to the Maltese Islands.
The adjudicating committee, which is comprised of chairman Maurice De Giorgio and members Philip Farrugia Randon, Martin Scicluna and Philip Zammit Briffa will be meeting shortly to decide who the winner of this year’s award is.
Last year, the award for culture and the arts was given to M.J. Publications Ltd. for Momento Mori Volume I and II, while two years ago the award for the environment went to The Gaia Foundation.
Frank Salt Investments award will be given to the person, persons, organisation or company, which, in the opinion of the adjudicating committee, stands out in each category, and is a sign of appreciation.
The presentation of the award will be made in the middle of November at the Phoenicia Hotel.
