Young Clive Farrugia was the winner yesterday of the Skeet competition organised by the Shooting Federation.

In the opening two rounds, he had scores of 42 out of 50 and then had a good round of 24 in the barage to finish first on 66 points.

Second placed was Paul Vella with 63 points, while third was Paul Sant on 61. Silvio Attard finished in fourth place with 60, followed by Robert Mula on 53 and Carmel Agius on 52.

Paul Vella had won the class A while Carmel Agius was the winner of Class B with 40.
