The 2006-07 edition of the British Airways Youth League got underway at the gym of the Furtu Selvatico Trade School in Naxxar. The programme was made up of both combined and normal weight categories. The two wrestlers that left a very good impression were Andrea Saliba and Jonathan Gatt both of Furtu Selvatico Wrestling Team. The former also wrestled quite well in the Grand Prix of Sicily in Palermo a few weeks ago.

Cadets I 85kg: Aidan Buhagiar (Stella Maris) 54kg: Matthew Bonnici (Stella Maris); 76/85kg: Andrea Saliba (Furtu Selvatico); 85kg: Brian Behag (Furtu Selvatico)

Cadets II 59kg: Jonathan Gatt (Furtu Selvatico)

Cadets III 53kg: Duncan Farrugia (Furtu Selvatico)

Cadets IV 32kg: Garry Giordemaina (Furtu Selvatico)
