There is no Maltese player taking part in the ISBF men’s world snooker championship which, this year, is being held for the first time in Jordan.

Eighty-eight players from over 40 nations are taking part in this championship.

It is a known fact that Alex Borg is playing the qualifiers for some of the major ranking tournaments in England at present, but the MBSA could not send at least one representative due to lack of funds.
