Last Monday I decided to make use of the park and ride scheme that was being introduced that same day.

I must say that I was impressed with the level of service offered and, most importantly, with the punctuality of the minivan that transports people to and from Valletta.

What I do hope is that the level of service is maintained all throughout. Unfortunately, in Malta we tend to start doing things well but soon enough the service deteriorates. Let us hope that the park and ride system will not be another such occurrence.

The number of people who made use of the service on the first day might have been low, but I am sure that more and more people will find it easier to get to Valletta like this.
