The Calamatta landscaping business has long been established as the absolute leader in the embellishment of private gardens and entrepreneurial gardens in particular hotels and tourist-orientated establishments. Following a major restructuring exercise, which saw Carlos Alberto Calamatta take over the managing directorship of the company while his father Peter was voted in as chairman, it has been decided to re-design the company’s image so that it communicates the message that the company will henceforth concentrate one hundred per cent on its core business, namely landscaping.

For this purpose the company name and logo will be changed to Calamatta Landscapes.

It is worth noting that this company is recognised locally and abroad, has won prestigious international awards, is a full member of BALI (the British Association of Landscape Industries) and ELCA (the European Landscape Contractors Association) and is, in fact, one of the largest landscaping companies in Europe, with over 50 full-time employees and a fluctuating number of part-timers.

Calamatta Landscapes is also a founding and active member of the Environmental Landscapes Consortium of which Carlos Alberto Calamatta is a director and Peter Calamatta chairman. ELC has changed the face of Malta in the last three-and-a-half years from one of dull abandonment to a year round colourful and green carpeted landscape that is the new pride and joy of all Maltese citizens proud of their country.

The future for soft landscaping augers well and Calamatta Landscapes will be leading from the front as it has done for the last 25 years.
