The next Miniathlon event for young athletes (Kids and Cubs) in the Miniathlon Series being organised by the MAAA, will be held at the Marsa Track today.

The Miniathlon is a fun event during which the young athletes will cover four events – a sprint, a “longer” running event, a jump and a throw.

The events will be a 60m hurdles, a Javelin (Turbo) Throw, High Jump and a 300m obstacle run (on grass area)

All young athletes will register for the event and will be given a number. Registration opens at 1.30 pm.

A fee of 25 cents is to be paid by all those wishing to take part.

All participating clubs and schools are to provide at least one official or helper and are encouraged to provide additional helpers or officials.
