A female student was yesterday conditionally discharged for one year after she pleaded guilty to paying a driving test instructor at the Malta Transport Authority (ADT) Lm70 to pass her driving test.

The woman, whose name cannot be mentioned by court order, pleaded guilty to bribing an ADT driving instructor on 15 October 2005.

Following her guilty plea, Magistrate Lawrence Quintano conditionally discharged the woman for one year.

Dr Franco Galea appeared for the woman.
