Under 17 coach Oliver Spiteri and women’s coach Pierre Brincat have selected their players for the forthcoming UEFA mini tournaments.

Spiteri has selected the following squad for the tournament in Malta starting tomorrow:

Goalkeepers: Josue Caruana, Michael Incorvaja.

Defenders: Owen Bugeja, Carl Camilleri, Andrew Camilleri Kamsky, Timoty Fleri Soler, Ismail Grech, Jonathan Xerri, Paul Kane Farrugia

Midfielders: Keith Fenech, Leighton Grech, Sheldon Grech, Dylon Grima, Christopher Mackay, Mark Scerri

Strikers: Nathan Busuttil, Miguel Ciantar, Melchior Vella

Serbia & Montenegro, Italy and Andorra will be taking part in the tournament.

In their opening match tomorrow at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in Hamrun, Malta will be facing Serbia & Montenegro. On Sunday they meet Italy at the Hibs Ground at 11.45am and the final match is on Wednesday against Andorra at the Hibs Ground at 11am.

Meanwhile, women’s coach Pierre Brincat has selected the following girls to form part of the squad traveling today for the Luxembourg mini tournament between Saturday and 24 November.

Goalkeepers: Sharon Costantino, Tonina Dimech.

Defenders: Rebecca D’Agostino, Mandy Debono, Marisa Deguara, Leslie Ann Galea, Natasha Pace.

Midfielders: Theresa Agius, Maria Azzopardi, Jane Coates, Roxanne Gatt, Karen Lia, Kathleen Saliba, Dorianne Theuma, Dionne Theuma.

Strikers: Ylenia Carabott, Sarah Jane Caruana, Rebecca Chircop.

The Maltese girls open their programme on Saturday with a match against Lithuania at 7pm. On Monday at 5.30pm, they will be facing hosts Luxembourg. Their last match is against Slovakia on Thursday at 7pm.
