The first encounter between these two rivals certainly did not disappoint as supporters from both sides were left voiceless after the match. It was one of those encounters that keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout, something to which these two squads have made us accustomed.

Aloysians drew first blood as after a minute they scored the first goal. It took another minute for La Salle to equalise and already yellow cards were being shown. After closely following each others’ steps and scoring a goal at each end La Salle got somewhat stuck at seven goals, and Aloysians managed to take advantage of this and open a gap of four goals. Keeping the rhythm of the match a slow one Milos’s men managed to increase the gap by another goal to go in for the break five goals ahead.

Coming out for the second part of the match La Salle looked more convinced and started nibbling down the gap. They managed in fact to reduce their disadvantage to merely two goals. Still after a shaky start Aloysians imposed their rhythm again and once again took the steering wheel in their hands to open up the gap again and get the three points out of the encounter.

The standings therefore now see Aloysians ProMinent on top with La Salle Nespak closely following in second spot.
