Emirates has introduced a new service between Dubai and New York via Hamburg as from 29 October. To celebrate the new flight, Maltese travellers now have the opportunity to travel to New York City via Hamburg for a very special fare. The flight connection from Malta to Hamburg is with Air Malta.

Maltese travellers can now travel to New York City (JFK) via Hamburg at a bargain fare starting from Lm180. The rate includes an Air Malta flight to and from Hamburg, and an Emirates Airline flight to and from New York City. This does not include fuel surcharges and taxes. Passengers also have the option of booking onward connections from JFK Airport to the rest of the United States, which may also be booked from local travel agents or Emirates’ Malta office at competitive prices.

“New York is a spectacular destination for both business travellers and sightseers,” said Emirates manager for Malta and Cyprus Paul Fleri Soler. “Our rates are very competitive and Emirates can take our clients directly to the heart of the city twice a week.”

Emirates will operate its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in three-class configuration on the New York route, with 12 seats in first, 42 in business and 310 in economy class. Passengers on the non-stop flight to New York can enjoy more than 600 channels of entertainment, gourmet dining with complimentary fine wines and mood lighting system that adjusts to the passage of time in all classes.

Flight EK 205 will depart Hamburg at 2.40pm and arrive in New York at 5.30pm on the same day. Return flight EK 206 will depart New York at 11.15pm and arrive in Hamburg at 12.35pm the next day. The flight from Hamburg to Malta will be on Air Malta the following day.

Emirates operates five flights weekly between Malta and Dubai via Larnaca in Cyprus, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on a comfortable wide-
