The Luxol St Andrews Football Academy has recently organised two festivals in which a grand total of 240 children took part. The aim behind these two festivals was to encourage team spirit and a genuine love for the game of football.

The participating teams were Floriana, Hamrun, Hibernians, Luxol St Andrews, Mosta, Pembroke, Pieta’ Hotspurs, Qormi, St Patricks and Valletta.

The Luxol St Andrews Football Academy would like to thank sponsors Carmelo Abela Ltd, Nestle, Paolo Bonnici Ltd and Urban Jungle (Sliema) for the Yazoo. Milk Drinks, the Nestle chocolates and Rowntree sweets, the Weetos Cereal bars and the discount vouchers provided respectively, to each individual participant.

The Luxol St Andrews Football Academy will be organising a Christmas tournament for those aged 10 and 12 between Tuesday 26 and Saturday 30 December. Football Nurseries are encouraged to contact Mario Borg, coordinator, as early as possible for a guaranteed participation.
